SALLY PERSKE ARNOLD, CPCU, ARM, ARe
As President of Self-Insurance Specialists, Sally has extensive experience in pool management, risk management consulting, and brokering excess and reinsurance coverage for self-insured clients. Before establishing Self-Insurance Specialists she was Vice President for an international insurance brokerage firm, responsible for risk management consulting and pool management for numerous self-insured clients. Sally also was a producer for commercial accounts in the risk management unit including many public entities.
Sally has over 20 years in the insurance industry as a consultant, president, vice president, account executive, marketing representative, and manager. Her experience includes managing a personal insurance department, personnel, special projects, budgeting, profitability analysis, market research, and developing policies and procedures.
She holds a BS in Marketing (cum laude) and an MBA in Organization Management from the University of Colorado.
In addition to her professional experience and excellent academic achievements, Sally became a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1983 and represented the Colorado Chapter of CPCU as New Designee Representative. She earned an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 1987 and received the Award of Academic Excellence from the American Risk and Insurance Management Society. This award honors those with the top 4 cumulative scores in the nation in risk management exams. Sally obtained her Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) in 1993.
She has taught CPCU courses in management and accounting/finance as well as risk management classes. Sally is past president of the Colorado Chapter of CPCU and has served on its Board of Directors.
